The American Partnership For Eosinophilic Disorders (APFED) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to patients and their families coping with eosinophilic disorders. Our 6th APFED Patient education conference is to be held in conjunction with a CME program for physician at Children’s Hospital San Diego. Please note the following is a preliminary program. Speakers, topics, and times are subject to change.

Goals:
1. Provide an opportunity for patients and families affected by eosinophil-related disorders to learn from international experts and from one another.
2. Raise awareness among healthcare providers, industry and the public of current issues from a patient/family perspective
3. Stimulate ideas to improve the quality of life for those living with these diseases
Conference Registration:
Before June 1st:
Members: $60 per person, $75 per couple (early) for members, $85 per family (includes 2 adults and up to 3 children 13-19 years old)
Non-members: $100 per person, $145 per couple for non-members, $175 per family
After June 1st
Late/On site: $150 per person, $35 for each additional family member
Registration includes a light breakfast July 12th and 13th and beverages during breaks. Children 11 years old and up may attend the sessions, but must be registered.
We are unable to accommodate children under 11 in the sessions.
We encourage the entire family to attend the Friday sessions.

APFED's 2008 National Patient Education Conference will be a three-day comprehensive conference on all matters related to EGIDs. Families are encouraged to come together for support and shared knowledge. This is APFED's 6th national event and each one builds upon the previous to ensure the presentations are the absolute cutting edge of eosinophilic knowledge delivered by the foremost experts in the field.
